PEAK!! The bar was set really high from the first game but Arkane absolutely nailed it. The gameplay is practically improved in every way you can think of, while retaining the excellent level design and attention to detail. In my humble onion, the story is just a wee bit weaker but I thought the characters were very well done and I loved being able to play as both Emily and Corvo. Plenty of replayability and so much cool lore to sift through. It really invites you to scower every nook and cranny in each level. An excellent sequel to an excellent game!

PEAK!! Imagine the good old assassins creed gameplay with the most swag magic ever. the level design is so good that you really can play however you want. the universe and world building is S-tier with all the lore and countless dialogue that changes based on your in game actions every mission. very good attention to detail and amazing passion from the devs. highly replayable. some of the documents and audio logs from the characters really tug on my freaking heart strings yo

Artistic puzzle game with a cutie patootie lil cat as your companion. Superliminal vibes but i personally found it better. the lore/world is pretty cool and there's great voice acting from the cast. gameplay mechanics itself can feel a bit shallow but the puzzles are still creatively put together
Halo: Combat Evolved
I was late to the party on this one, but bungie shooter go brr. as someone who loved both destiny games, i didnt realize just how much they snatched from halo when making it lol. also i thought the graphics were so fire. shit probably looked magical in 2001

Cyberpunk 2077
PEAK!! The most visually beautiful game i have played. made me a sucker for the cyberpunk and futuristic sci fi genre. amazing modding community too. the DLC is a certified banger. the attention to detail along with the graphic fidelity is near unmatched. the world feels so lived in and it's really easy to get immersed. this is the only game that i didn't fast travel in because walking/motorbiking around was that cool. super replayable too because of all the different builds and playstyles available, along with plenty of quests with variable endings

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot
I had to try it after a nostalgia wave and replaying DBZ Buus Fury on the gameboy for the millionth time. this is the true spiritual successor to the gameboy DBZ trilogy. yea the game gets pretty repetitive but its mechanics are on the simpler side and it doesnt feel so tedious to complete everything. it goes through the whole DBZ story, with DLCs for DBS. if you like the dragon ball anime, you'll like this game
Elden Ring
My first souls-like and boy is it a doozy. incredible atmosphere, lore, art direction, and mechanics. unfortunately its one of those games that you will most likely need a wiki open 24/7 if you wanna do all the cool quests. the game does not hold your hand AT ALL. i never finished the last 2 bosses which i kinda regret now, but maybe i'll run it back and do a blind run, and see if i dont get overwhelmed lol
Tomb Raider (2013)
Lara Croft has so much aura. pretty linear game but very fun and atmospheric. the story is solid and the cast is great. plenty of cool environments to explore but not a whole lot of incentive sometimes. also, the graphics still hold up great
South Park: The Stick of Truth
Everything you know and love about the south park tv show but its interactive. fun game that doesnt let you take it seriously at any step of the way

Ezio is the best assassin in the franchise. charismatic youngin going on a revenge tour and teaming up with dope ass people like Leonardo Da Vinci. historically accurate italy is really cool and the visuals are very noice. i prefer these simpler mechanics regarding combat and quests, and this hit the spot perfectly

PEAK!! You can do anything and everything, solo or with friends. any gamemode you can imagine. these days its harder to find quality servers but nonetheless still an awesome sauce game. this and cod zombies shaped who i am today LOL
Rocket League
The only "sports" game i like. the feeling of making skillful plays with your teammates is simply unmatched. no other "sports" game is this involved with the playmaking process and the amount of control you have. mechanics take you very far but so does game sense and tactics. i still cant flip reset after 5000 hours but i can hold my own lol

This game has had crazy ups and downs, but the Forsaken era was actually peak. so many different activities to do, so much loot to chase. and the grind actually felt rewarding! there was so much opportunity to play the way you wanted and the sandbox was in such a good place that the simple-ish build crafting was fun. to be fair, i was a teenager in high school at the time so i had virtually unlimited time to grind it, but boy am i glad i did

Fockin amazing one of a kind game. I didnt even get to play the most peak era (TTK) but all the year one content was SO FUN and REFRESHING. ill never forget it. ill never forget ScaredOpossum72 who bought me the House of Wolves DLC because he wanted to play it with me. what a kind soul he was

One of those games that is very simple mechanically but you can truly appreciate the passion put into everything. the art, sounds, character designs, and feel of the game are so swag. playable solo, but more fun with a squad. plenty of unique levels and tons of items and abilities to try out, so replayability is great
Lethal Company
The OG friendslop game. it started a trend that will seemingly never die. the only one i actually came back to regularly. the modding community is amazing, and no two runs ever feel the same. plus, you can gamble with the casino mod. whats not to like?
